I posted about the day we went to the granite yard to pick out the granite for our master bath renovation. Our daughter is a decorator here in town and she is super busy these days so, although she has been making some plans, we have been waiting for things to really start bustling...and, today was the day! We picked out the new commode, under mount sink, shower and sink faucets, shower light and fan, floor tiles and shower surround tiles and border. We already chose the cabinetry so, except for our meeting with the contractor this coming Monday, we are pretty "good to go"!
We are taking out the tub in this bathroom and putting in a walk-in shower. We thought as long as the tub was coming out, this made good sense as neither of us is getting any younger and a slip in the tub would not be a good thing. And, we have a tub in the guest bath so I understand this makes more sense for resale value.
I LOVE construction of any kind and since this also incorporates demolition, I am in pig heaven! Can't wait for the dust to start flying!! Stay tuned!
