Rough Re-entry!

 I am having a hard time getting moving at any rate of speed after returning from my ten days away. There was a fair amount of things both inside and outside to catch up on...and I have done that plus a bit extra outside as I almost always end up doing once I get out there...but, I am having trouble getting motivated to start any new projects.

I had ordered an antique brick mold and it did arrive in today's mail. I know I will probably leave it out most of the year but, when I first saw it and decided to order it, I had a 4th of July vignette in mind. I thought that might get me motivated but it has only gotten me as far as checking out my Pinterest posts and grabbing the materials I think I will need. We are having a wonderful rainy day and it just makes me want to sit and catch up on all kinds of shows that I missed.

Here is what I did with the brick mold until I do my decor swap. I don't know why I am drawn to old boxes but I have so many ideas of how this can be used...if I could just get going. Lol

I think the Uncle Sam I am aiming for will be a mix of these two although mine will be different just by virtue of the materials I have on hand. I haven't really thought out the process-I'm thinking I will just hit the ground running after lunch and see where I end up.

I'm definitely going to need to do some coffee dying and grunging to the very bright fabrics I have. If truth be told, I could use a HL run but today's weather is more of an "at home kind of day".
