Hippity Hop

The sun hasn't been co-operating with me to get pictures of the porch so let's leave that for now and head straight into the living room. I've already shared some sneak peeks into the arrangements with the real feel tulips but I think I forgot this one. I am anything BUT a floral arranger so I have really never been too thrilled with the things I have put together in the past but, I swear, the addition of those tulips has made every one just so much prettier! I don't think I'm exactly happy with the framed bunny in the scale but that is where he will live until I can come up with somewhere I like better.

So, this "new" piece from daughter #1 is still here. I think I like it but the sliders are STILL under it just in case because it is HEAVY! It is also almost completely impossible to get a full picture of that thing. I put Peter Rabbit under it because it just looks like it is crying out for something tall to fill the gap-I have no idea what will go there from here on out. Lol

That is the living room for this year and I think I am good with it now that my color scheme is mostly green, purple, pink and white. I really limited the yellow to just a few pops because, after all, how do you leave out forsythia when you're talking about Easter and spring?

I am off to make some lunch and watch my grandson's lacrosse game from Massachusetts today. This is an important one so he will probably hear me cheering all the way from Florida!

I almost forgot-before I leave you let me show you the latest update.

Woohoo! The fence is back and there is a new gate. I decided to take the lattice off of the top. We had that put on many, many, many years ago to make the fence 8' when we weren't sure what might happen in the 17 acres behind our house but it pretty much looks like it is going to stay just as it is and, since the lattice requires constant updating, the higher fence is really not needed any more-so, the next step will be to get the rest of the lattice cut off and the fence back to 6'. It feels so much better to be shut off from the outside world again-Lol Stay safe and stay tuned.
