Patience is a virtue...or so we were taught back in G.S. in "The Brownie Story". Maybe in my case it's a little bit of patience and a whole lot of persistence. I think I told you over a year ago that I was on the search for the metal vintage holiday leaners that I had seen on different blogs that I follow. Of course, they were only available at $Tree+ stores and we didn't have any of them yet. Once we finally got a "plus" store, I was there for every holiday just hoping to find one and then, this past Christmas, I found the last Santa my store had and I was so excited! I knew there should be some coming for Easter and almost fell over when I happened upon the last one again and this time it was Mother Goose. I knew in my heart of hearts that there should be a rabbit also and, for some reason, this morning before heading to the grocery store I was compelled to drive out to another store farther away but I just had a feeling. This store is so unorganized and dirty but for whatever reason, I had that feeling. And sure enough, there was Peter Rabbit-just waiting to come home with me. I have absolutely no idea where or how I will use these guys but I just love them...it's the little things. Lol Aren't they just so cute?!
I was hoping to find some other ideas for some St. Pat's or Easter crafts while I was there but I wasn't as lucky with that. I did grab some shiny clover plates and a set of glasses that we don't have yet for our St. Pat dress-ups. I also grabbed two wood stars. Believe it or not, I saw a cute idea for 4th of July that I haven't done yet so now maybe I have something to do in these frigid days that we seem to have coming.
While I'm here, why don't we hop into the dining room.
