So Much To Do...

So much to do...so little time. I am so torn right now because as much as I enjoy visiting with you and know that my time for our Easter tour is getting short, I would also LOVE to be back out in the yard. I went out early this morning and it was BEAUTIFUL! There was a crisp breeze blowing and I enjoyed every minute of my time continuing to cut back all of the new growth that got out of hand as well as more of the dead branches remaining. I have 6 large garbage cans to my name and they are all now full so everything else that remains cut but not picked up will just have to do so until the garbage pickup on Tuesday.

With all of that in mind-just in case you peek out of a window in the photos and wonder why there are piles all over the place-let's head out to the sunroom for our Easter reveal. Easter is the other holiday where I have way more framed pictures than I really need but, with seven grandchildren and  bunny visits every year, photos abound and I love looking at every one of them. With the 30th birthday of my first grand fast approaching, all of the memories in those pictures just seem to mean more and more to me each time I stand and look at them. Once again, the sunroom was decorated so that every surface could be used without too much effort as this room gets lots of use all year long.

So that is the sunroom for this year-simple but it still speaks to Easter. I'm heading back outside again. We have a strong wind advisory but I am still not seeing much here so I want to get a bit more weeding done and then, while running errands yesterday, I picked up some new plants and flowers so I would love to get them potted and watered before I call it a day. I wasn't able to find the pillows for the Adirondack chairs so I might head off again tomorrow and, I still need more flowers. I really want to get some pots full of color all around the pool before the heat of summer makes it too hard to keep them happy.

I have a super busy week coming up all leading to daughter #3's birthday on Friday-when she will be on her way to Boston for my grandson's lacrosse game and to celebrate Easter with him-so I am hoping I can celebrate with her at a lacrosse game here on Thursday evening. I went to a favorite shop here in town to look for a present for her and while there I also found myself a few treasures.

Look at this guy. I knew I wanted something taller in the middle and I love the way he looks. His "gold" complements the gold of the candle sticks and the bunny himself looks a bit like his counterpart on the picture below.

And then I got this pretty candle ring. I actually thought I would use it under the bunny but it just doesn't fit correctly so I added it to this.

I actually felt it was kind of bare around the bottom so I "scrunched" it up to fit a little better and I like the pop it brings-it kind of looks like the ring of flowers the bunny is wearing in her hair. Lol

And then I found a pretty Easter lily. I love the fragrance this adds to my house-it smells like spring.

And for one more fragrance...I found a bundle of dried lavender. I bought it more for my spring decor but it works for Easter as well. Right now it is just here-not sure where it will pop up in the next decor-which, scarily, will be happening in little more than a week! I'm thinking I probably could have tied a pretty ribbon around it. If I have a minute later today I will do that!

I have a bit more to show you before I need to start baking my Easter bunny sugar cookies. I am going to do two batches-one for the gang traveling to Boston and the other for those of us going to be celebrating in Gainesville. Honestly, the year is just going much too quickly.

Stay safe and stay tuned and I will be back soon.
