Morgan Paige graduated from the I.B. program at her high school with high honors on Saturday and we were all there to help her celebrate! She is grand daughter #3, so this is our third high school graduation and it gets us every time. It is so hard to believe that yet another precious child that I witnessed being born is now 18 years old and ready to go out there and face the world head on. Believe me, with the recent crop of young people that I know, we are all going to be in good hands in the future!
We are missing grand daughter #2 from these pictures. She was in N.C. with a friend's family for the last week but managed to catch up with us in time for the party!
After graduation, we headed to one of our favorite places, BJs, for Morg's party!
Yay, Caitlin arrived safe and sound after a long car ride!
Morgan received lots of gifts but the most "memorable" is the quilt from Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Joel. This has become a tradition and Morgan was so excited to receive her memory quilt. Each square is made from a patterned fabric depicting a special moment or event in Morg's life. It is always so much fun to look at them all and take a trip down memory lane through fabric! Those of us who have already received ours will treasure them always!
The last of the house guests have left and I am mopping up a few loose ends today. I am chomping at the bit to get the 4th decor out but I also have a bunch of errands that need doing tomorrow so we shall see which one wins out. Never-the-less, red, white and blue is coming soon. Stay tuned!
