We have a busy number of days ahead of us. Heading off today to meet this precious face. This is Jasper, the Golden Retriever that daughter #1 and her family rescued from a Korean meat packing plant. I hear he is adorable but starting to feel at home and learning some of the "tricks" from his older sister, Hattie. Sounds as if the two are collaborating on some mischief these days!
We will also be going to the St. Pete H.S. football game where our grand daughter will be performing as a Devilette! Don't get to see this often enough, so we will definitely be some of the loudest cheer-ers!
And, as if that isn't enough excitement, we will be helping Olivia celebrate her 14th birthday! Boy does time go fast when you're having fun!
Of course, we will also try to fit in some "porch time" where we can just sit and watch the world go by. We love the feel of the Old Northeast in St. Pete...now, if Mother Nature would just co-operate and bring those beautiful autumn temperatures to match the way all of the houses will be decorated, we would be forever grateful (smile).
In any case, I'm sure I will have many tales (and photos) to share when we get back. Stay tuned.
